# Gustopher

## What Gustopher can build (today, shipped)

- Web-watching agents: fetch pages, monitor for changes, summarize headlines or listings, alert you
- Email agents (Gmail or Outlook): read, summarize, and send email on your behalf — e.g. "summarize
  my unread email every morning", "send a birthday email to this list"
- Calendar agents (Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar): read schedules, create and update events
- Research/summary agents: gather info from public web sources, produce structured summaries with
  action items
- Data agents: pull from APIs you have keys for (stored securely), enrich CSVs, track prices/metrics
- Scheduled agents: any of the above on a schedule (daily digests, recurring checks) — runs
  unattended, results in the app
- Multi-step stacks: chain agents into sequential workflows

## How building works

You describe what you want in chat ("build me an agent that watches this site and alerts me on new
listings"). Gustopher's assistant (Gus) plans it, shows you the plan, you approve with one tap, and
the agent is built and ready to run — typically in minutes. Agents ask you a question if they
genuinely need input, and report truthfully if something fails (no fake successes).

## Integrations

Connected with one tap in Settings:
- Google: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive (one consent covers all three)
- Microsoft: Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar, OneDrive (one consent covers all three)
Bring-your-own API keys: any service with an API key (stored encrypted) can power an agent —
e.g. finance data, property data, custom internal APIs.

## Delivery philosophy

Results live in the app: run output and an alerts feed. Gustopher never defaults to emailing you
results — email/calendar are used only when you explicitly ask. The product exists because talking
to your bot through email or messaging apps is the pattern it replaces.
